Makia took its first steps into the world in 2021 after many, many months of love, thought and dedication. We developed the idea soon after discovering how precious and fleeting the special moments of parenthood can be. And just how difficult it is to preserve them to perfection.
We surveyed nearly half a million parents to develop the best journal possible. We asked how they store memories, what sort of memories matter, and what challenges they wanted solved by a baby and bump journal.
This helped us craft Makia into journals that lead the way and make it simple to savour the memories that matter. These are journals we don’t just share with others, we’ve used them to cherish our own two children as well.
As parents, we know that the time we spend with our kids is what develops strong and loving bonds. It’s our mission to inspire families to capture this time meaningfully so it can be celebrated for decades to come.
